Echoes of Hope

The last few years of my life have been those of triumph, trials and testimony.  It if were not for the Lord on my side with grace, favor and mercy; I would have perished under the pressure.  Because of the things I have been through, I am grateful for the person I am today.  I have always wanted to share my story but did not know how. However there is a reason and a season for everything as Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says.  I've prayed and prayed and asked God but he always said "Not yet".  ("For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope..." Jeremiah 29:11)

While in prayer and waiting on the "go ahead" from God for over 18 months, He made a move just recently ("...Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me..." Jeremiah 29:12). These past 2 weeks were phenomenal.  First, I spoke with my god-sister, Sylvia, and she just gave it to me. She told me everything I NEEDED to hear, and as always I am forever grateful.  She gave me some goals to accomplish and I am ticking off each one even as I write this blog.

The second thing that inspired me was the picture below. Pastor Troy Garner of The Fellowship of Faith Church in Huntsville, AL.  A good friend of my dad's and an amazing man of God, seems like was speaking directly to me when I saw it.  It was then that I heard God say "NOW".  I didn't question God, I just did what he said.  Immediately I started preparing for the work He has called me to do (..."and I will listen to you.  You will seek Me and find Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord..." Jeremiah 29: 12-14)

With that said, I bring to you Echoes of Hope!  Echoes of Hope will become a movement and not just something to do.  I am very passionate about making sure that no other woman (young girl) will have to go through what I've been through.  Each Monday (Motivation Mondays) a new segment to my story will be uploaded to my new YouTube channel (link is below).  My story goes through things you would never imagine that I have battled with.  Testimonies from my family (my husband, my sons, my brothers and closest friends) on how they went through this with me, how I've disappointed them to what they expect now. (..."and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive" Jeremiah 29:14)Echoes of Hope

I pray that this moves in the hearts of many across the world.  My god-sister told me not to limit myself. And with God on my side, heaven is the limit!
